Open Access Policy

Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (TAN) is an open-access academic journal and makes all scholarly content it publishes openly accessible immediately upon publication, without any access restrictions or embargo period.

The journal aims to support the free circulation and broad accessibility of scholarly knowledge and to contribute to making research findings freely accessible to researchers, students, practitioners, and other interested stakeholders.

Readers are not required to pay any subscription or access fee to access, read, or download articles published in the Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (TAN).

Works published in the journal are made openly available under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Under this license, published works may be shared, reproduced, distributed, and adapted provided that appropriate attribution is given, a link to the license is provided, any changes made are indicated, and the use is for non-commercial purposes.

Commercial use of published works is not permitted under the CC BY-NC 4.0 license. Separate permission must be obtained from the copyright holder for commercial use.

The copyright of works published in the Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (TAN) belongs to the authors. The journal publishes and provides open access to these works within the scope of the non-exclusive publication rights granted to it by the authors.

Authors are permitted to deposit the submitted version (preprint), accepted manuscript, and published Version of Record of their articles in institutional, disciplinary, funder-designated, or other repositories of their choice.

 

Authors may also archive these versions on their personal or institutional websites.

No embargo period applies.

 

When the published Version of Record is deposited, the original source should be acknowledged and the DOI and/or link to the article on the journal website should be provided, where available.
