Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Raw data regarding their articles may be requested from the author(s) within the framework of the evaluation processes. Author(s) must submit the requested data and information to the publication and/or scientific committee.

If the author(s) notices a mistake or error regarding their published work, which is under evaluation, they have the obligation to inform the journal editor or publisher and to cooperate with the editor in correcting or withdrawing their work.

Papers previously presented at a congress - provided that the entire work has not been published in the congress book - and articles compiled from the graduate thesis should be stated at the end of the page with a footnote containing the necessary information. Journal Policy
Refereeing and Printing Processes
The studies that reach the journal are pre-examined by the Editorial Board in terms of compliance with the journal scope and writing rules. Studies deemed appropriate as a result of this review are submitted to the evaluation of at least two referees using the blind referee method. Referees are given 30 days to make an evaluation and a new referee is appointed to replace the referee who does not respond within this period. In order for the candidate study to be published in the journal, it must receive positive opinions from at least two referees. If one of the referees expresses a positive opinion and the other gives a negative opinion, the study is submitted to the opinion of a third referee. The author(s) are obliged to make corrections suggested by the referee(s) (if any) within 30 days. Articles that receive a publishable report from the referee(s) and are checked by the journal editorship enter the publication process. The final format of the articles is given by the author(s). Articles accepted for publicationEarly Appearance They are taken to the section. They are then published in an appropriate issue by the decision of the Editorial Board. No changes can be made to articles that have been finalized and taken into the publication process.
The referee(s) does not have information about the identity of the author(s), and the author(s) does not have information about the identity of the referee(s). The responsibility for ensuring confidentiality on this matter belongs to the journal editor.
Quality assurance

Editors; It is responsible for ensuring the protection of human and animal rights in the evaluated studies. Ethics committee approval regarding the subjects used in the studies is responsible for rejecting the study in cases where there is no permission for experimental research.
Precautions Against Possible Abuse and Misconduct
Editors; is obliged to take precautions against possible abuse and misconduct. In addition to conducting a meticulous and objective investigation to identify and evaluate complaints regarding this situation, sharing the relevant findings is among the editor's responsibilities.
Ensuring Academic Publication Integrity
Editors must ensure that errors, inconsistencies or misleading judgments in studies are quickly corrected.
Protection of Intellectual Property Rights
Editors; It is obliged to protect the intellectual property rights of all published articles and to defend the rights of the journal and the author(s) in case of possible violations.
In addition, editors are obliged to take the necessary precautions to ensure that the contents of all published articles do not violate the intellectual property rights of other publications.
Constructivism and Openness to Discussion
Editors; He/she should take into account convincing criticisms of the works published in the journal and display a constructive attitude towards these criticisms.
The author(s) of the criticized works should be given the right to reply.
One should not ignore or exclude studies with negative results.
Complaints

Ethical Responsibilities of Referees
Evaluation of all studies by "Blind Referee" directly affects the quality of publication. PUBLICATION POLICY
one. Studies submitted to the journal for publication must not have been published anywhere before, or have not been included in the evaluation process of another journal for publication, or have not been accepted for publication elsewhere.
2. Responsibility for the articles that are in the evaluation process and published belongs entirely to the author(s). Articles published in the magazineJournal of Turkish Academic Novelty (tan) does not reflect your opinion.
3. Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (tan), has all publishing rights of the articles accepted and published for publication, in written and electronic media, without the need for any other process.
4. Articles written in Turkish and English are published in the magazine.
5.If the article or article on the subject of the research has been supported by any institution or produced from a thesis, this should be stated as a footnote on the same page by placing a (*) sign on the last word of the title of the work. In articles produced from the thesis, the person who wrote the thesis comes first in the list of authors.
6. Studies sent to the journal are subject to preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Board. Any form and content changes regarding the articles and writings that are pre-evaluated may be requested.
7.The Editor and the Editorial Board decide on the initiation of the peer review process. Manuscripts that pass the preliminary evaluation are examined by at least two referees.
8.Referees are faculty members with the title of professor, associate professor and doctor working at universities in Turkey. If deemed necessary by the Editorial Board, referees may be selected from among associate professors and professors working at universities abroad. If a faculty member who is an expert on the incoming manuscript cannot be found, PhD scientists who are experts on the subject can also be selected as referees.
9.The names of the authors and referees are kept confidential during the article evaluation process.
10.In line with the reports from the referees, it is decided to publish the articles or articles, to request corrections, additional information and abbreviations from the author(s) within the framework of the reports, or not to publish them, and the author(s) are notified.
11th. The author(s) are responsible for making all changes requested by the referees. Articles and articles cannot be printed without making the desired changes. The author(s) send a report containing the changes they have made to the journal along with the corrected article or articles.
