Digital Archiving and Long-Term Preservation Policy
Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (TAN) is committed to ensuring the continuity, accessibility, and long-term preservation of its published scholarly content. Accordingly, the journal adopts the principle of preserving published articles and their bibliographic information in digital form and maintaining their accessibility over time.
Published issues and articles are maintained and made accessible through the electronic archive of the Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (TAN). Published scholarly content is not removed from the journal archive after publication; any necessary corrections, retractions, or removals are carried out in accordance with the journal’s relevant publication policies.
The journal is committed to developing long-term digital preservation and archiving infrastructure to protect its digital content against circumstances such as technical failures, platform changes, data loss, or the discontinuation of publishing activities.
Within this framework, the Journal of Turkish Academic Novelty (TAN) supports the preservation of its published content through independent and reliable long-term digital preservation systems. If the journal becomes actively included in any long-term digital archiving service, information regarding the preservation system and service used will be clearly stated on this policy page.
Technical changes to the journal’s website or publishing platform do not affect the status of published articles as part of the scholarly record. The journal considers maintaining the integrity and long-term accessibility of its published scholarly content to be one of its fundamental publishing responsibilities.
